History

1999 :

  • Creation of Individual Enterprise"SAM" in Chott Meriem, Sousse - Tunisia by Mr. Sami EL OUNI.
  • Launch of our first product: table olives, pimentos, mixed vegetables, capers, stuffed olives ... etc.
2000 :
  • Birth of our first products packaged in bags of 100 grams square fund.
2001 :
  • First steps to international markets: France, Germany and Austria
2005 :
  • Capital increase and change of name and legal status:
  • SAM becomes "Sopraco" Limited Liability Company (LLC)
2008 :
  • Status SARL "SOPRECO" goes Société Anonyme (SA)
  • Mr. Sami EL OUNI was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO),
  • Investment of land in the Industrial Zone of Kondar-Sousse.
  • Capital increase in cash.
2009 :
  • Beginning of the new building Sopraco meet international standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 22000) the most recognized and most stringent food industry.
2010 :
  • Implementation of quality procedures for ISO 9001 (2008 version) and ISO 22000 (2005 version).
2011 :
  • Inauguration of the new site Sopraco and start its activity.
2011 / 2012 :
  • Obtaining ISO 9001 and 22000
